Phase and motor monitoring Klemsan DPR

The monitoring of drives in industrial automation is becoming more and more important. Especially in constantly changing environments, for example with mobile machines. Klemsan offers a reliable and inexpensive alternative here, the Klemsan DPR monitoring relay.

The relay is installed in the control cabinet and monitors the following parameters:

  • phase failure
  • phase sequence
  • voltage monitoring
  • frequency monitoring
  • PTC monitoring

The switch-off times for all measured variables can be provided with a delay time.

The monitoring relay is easy to program using buttons and a very simple menu. Depending on the version, it has 2 independent switching relays with a switching capacity of 1.250 VA, 10A, 250VAC.

Lean Managed Switch by WAGO

ETHERNET is very important as a communication infrastructure in industrial and building automation. The installation, commissioning and maintenance of ETHERNET installations are seldom carried out by IT specialists. In order to install networks safely and robustly and to guarantee high availability and security, WAGO is now offering new lean managed switches. They optimally complement the manufacturer’s portfolio in the area of network infrastructure and offer new functions, especially for network diagnostics.

The switches are usually installed in the control cabinet and are available with 8 or 16 copper ports, with transmission rates of up to 1000 Mbit / s. Devices with two additional SFP slots (100/1000 Mbit / s) are optionally available, which can be used for connecting fiber optic cables, for example. A version with PoE functionality enables power to be supplied to connected PoE devices with a control cabinet-typical supply voltage of DC 24 V. The power output per PoE port can be up to 30 W.

Another easy-to-use function in the diagnostics dashboard is the so-called loose contact feature. All transmission errors for each port are logged in port link-down statistics. In this way, any loose contacts that may be triggered, for example by faulty plugs, can be quickly localized and rectified.

Both the operating concepts and the hardware of the new switches are perfectly adapted to the needs of automation and building technology. In addition to the simple operating concept, this also includes top-hat rail mounting, small geometric dimensions and the extended temperature range from -40 ° C to +60 ° C. A redundant power supply ensures even higher availability. Each housing is provided with a 2D barcode that contains a link to the instruction manual and the data sheet. Support can also be reached via the link with just one click.
